Welcome to the
USS Utopia NCC-89018 Flagship For Task Force 21!

Welcome to the home of the USS-Utopia the second Elysium class ship serving in Obsidian Fleet. More specifically she is the flag ship for Task Force 21, she also has followed the Fleet and Romulus has been destroyed. I am the Commanding Officer Rear Admiral Dirk Alphonse. I invite you to look around and familiarize yourself with the ship. She's got a great crew, with new crew always welcome. If you enjoy what you see don't hesitate and join the crew, you know you want to.

Utopia, a perfect society no faults or problems. The Elysium Class cruiser designed to bring the basic ideals of the Federation back to StarFleet. Diplomatic help and spreading of peace. Larger than the Galaxy class she allows for not only the civilian families of the crew but a stable Civilian populous aboard as well. Combining the two comes the USS Utopia the Second Elysium to be commissioned into Obsidian Fleet.

As its name suggests the Utopia spreads assistance and peace through out the Federation. And makes wherever assistance is needed it is given...

So my 'disappearance' has been due to work. We have an accreditation team coming into the school on Tuesday and I've spent a large chunk of my time there due to higher ups coming down on us to make sure the school looks pristine. Two more days and I should be back and get the JP started kicking off the mission.

I want to remind everyone, or inform you if you fall in that category, That this upcoming week is going to be very hectic for myself. I've volunteered for Salt Lake Comic Con again and found out I get the 7AM to 9-10pm shift Thursday-Saturday. Meaning I get to be up at 5 and probably wont hit home until 11ish at night. I know a few JP's are going I'll do my best to get them added and out by Thursday. But I can almost guarantee that I will be inaccessible Starting Thursday.

» Last and Final Call and Welcome

We have gotten a few new players aboard and we intend to kick off a new start for the Utopia. Welcome Lieutenant Rhiana t’Elenhh our new Operations Officer and 1st Lieutenant John Adams who will be over our Marines.

In order to get the new start I would like to see we need active players. At the moment we have four who are looking to start fresh, the two mentioned above and Myself and our former XO who has changed positions. There was a few circumstances that I noted and decided to keep the "Inactive" crew on the Manifest for a little longer. That will run out at the end of this month. The 7th of September at the latest as I will be busy that previous week with helping at Salt Lake Comic Con and might not get to the removal before then due to work.

So this is the true last and final call. If I do not hear anything by the end of the month your characters will be removed from the Utopia Manifest.

Been asked to pass this along.

‘lo folks,

Our Fleet Recruitment department is one of our youngest departments and one that is ever on the change, with involvement in Social Media, external recruitment resources and support of Commanding Officers.

In an attempt to ensure that our Recruitment department is doing the very best it can for the Fleet as a whole, and being as efficient with time and resources as it can, we are wanting to open up some focus groups. This is to find out what it is that you think the Fleet Recruitment department does and what idea’s you may have to improve it.

A little about a focus group for those that may not know what it is.

A focus group is a form of qualitative research in which a group of people are asked about their perceptions, opinions, beliefs, and attitudes towards a product, service, concept, advertisement, idea, or packaging. Questions are asked in an interactive group setting where participants are free to talk with other group members.

The overall objective is to discuss Fleet Recruitment and find out what it is doing correctly, what it could improve on and if there is anything it could start doing for the Fleet and her players.  These are a few points and more could be raised in the discussion.

If you have idea’s and want to take part in a constructive environment then please contact the Director of Fleet Recruitment to register your interest. We ask that Commanding Officers cascade this to their crews.

There are only a limited number of spaces for the Focus Group and more information will be given to those who are selected.

Should you have any further questions regarding Fleet Recruitment contact the Director, for anything Fleet related speak to your TFCO or email the Joint Fleet Command.  All of whom will be more than happy to answer your questions.
